As Chalet Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth-running of the chalet operation and the team to ensure our guests get the most from their stay at the Chalet Panorama. Liaising with the UK Head Office, Resort Manager and the chalet staff regarding the weekly guest arrivals – making sure all expectations are met in terms of transfers, rooming arrangements, dietary requests, ski packs. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone – building a warm rapport and welcoming, homely atmosphere.

Plan the staff rota (6 person team) to ensure the chalet is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times. Manage the financial reporting and budgeting process, providing accurate weekly figures to the UK head office (training will be provided at the UK office pre-season).

Essential criteria

• Good level of experience in chalet / or hotel industry
• First class customer service abilities
• Strong financial / numeracy skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to ensure that all aspects of chalet presentation remains consistently high
• Hand's on approach
• Proven team leader and motivator

Preferable skills

• Ability to drive overseas
• An understanding of food costing / budgeting
• Enthusiasm for skiing/snowboarding
