Chances are if you did, you’ll have some pretty special memories and that’s what we do at Select School Travel. We organize and deliver an array of educational and ski tours to match cost with service, alongside quality. Our founder has been pivotal to school travel since the 70’s and now introduces the next generation of school travel, with his son at the helm as MD.

At the heart of delivering our educational tours and ski trips are our team of Tour Coordinators. Lively and hard-working, the team thrives on the buzz of a fast-paced environment. It’s an environment that’s not for the faint hearted, but is suited to those who are passionate about people (school party leaders, colleagues, suppliers, travel advisors to name just a few), are super organized, have a hawk’s eye for detail and love the challenge of pulling together an entire tour or ski trip to an array of destinations near and far.

Each day varies, and there’s never a dull moment but daily responsibilities will generally include:

· Delivering each tour or ski trip through the full cycle from confirmation to post-tour feedback, whilst giving the best service at every stage
· Communicating with internal and external suppliers by phone and by email
· Producing all relevant & accurate paperwork for the tour including itineraries, travel packs, invoices etc
· Processing booking amendments and cancellations
· Handling all questions and queries and liaising with all parties involved
· Managing holiday requests and assisting with assessments of the team
· Rapid reaction support and troubleshooting for the Tour coordinator team
· Provide a communication link between Tour coordinators and other departments
· Setting out processes for the team to follow
· Systems development and management
· Collating and circulating feedback 
· Monitoring credit control

What’s required to become a Tour Coordinator Supervisor?

· Superb interpersonal and communication skills
· A friendly telephone manner
· Sound knowledge of MS Office
· Team orientated
· Leadership qualities
· Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential
· Language would be advantageous (but not essential!)
· Willingness to get stuck in and go above and beyond to ensure the schools who choose to travel with Select receive the very best in customer service
· Tour Coordinating is a full-time position 5 days a week
