My history within school travel stems back more than 29 years working with a number of well-known brands. The travel advisor team at Select are all highly experienced, which matters in this industry to ensure teachers receive great advice and service.
I have worked within school travel since 1999 and haven’t looked back since. It’s such a pleasure to talk to a party leader about their plans, many of whom I have been seeing for 19 years now.
My grandparents and parents were both in travel so I feel it’s very much in my blood. I was encouraged from a young age to see and experience what the world has to offer and I believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience this as early as possible. Select School Travel provides a wonderful rich travel platform for school children of all ages.
I am a forward thinking, problem solver who thrives on ensuring our schools have the best possible outcome for students. I truly believe a passion for travel starts at a young age and that educational trips are the perfect springboard for igniting that spark to go out and explore the world.
I’ve been very fortunate to have been connected with world wide school travel for over 20 years. Some of my best experiences have been seeing students faces filled with excitement and awe, whether exploring a new city and culture or successfully completing an exhilarating ski run for the first time! I believe that learning curve outside of the classroom is almost vertical and long may it continue.
I have been looking after school trips for the past 12 years, and have been seen first-hand the enjoyment and benefits that school trips bring to the pupils and staff. I am very proud of my work and love to spend time exploring the possibilities of new and exciting destinations.
The highlight of my role is hearing from returning groups who say, “Thank you for your advice – it was an amazing trip!” Having joined Select School Travel in 2024 I’m really looking forward to providing further advice, support and guidance to help deliver exceptional educational travel experiences for our schools.
Having worked in the school travel industry for 15 years, I’ve been lucky enough to travel alongside many school groups, and seeing how an amazing school trip can be a once in a life time opportunity for some.
The team place a high value on providing the best service, quality and value. I love building relationships with party leaders in the South West and helping to make their experience of taking a school trip abroad personalised and stress-free!
